How we work, and how we look after your things.
Terms of work
These terms apply to every project with Rumble Builds unless a signed proposal or statement of work says otherwise. If the two conflict, the signed document wins.
Scope and changes
Each project has a written scope, price and timeline. Work outside that scope, or more revision rounds than the proposal includes, is quoted and agreed in writing before we start it.
Payment
Work begins when the deposit named in the proposal is paid. Remaining payments follow the schedule in the proposal. Final files, source access and launch happen once the invoice is paid in full. Late invoices may pause work until they are settled.
What we need from you
Timely feedback, accurate content, and the access we ask for. Delays on your side move the timeline by the same amount. You confirm that the material you give us is yours to use.
Cancelling
Either side can end a project in writing. You pay for work completed up to that point, and the deposit is not refundable once work has begun. Files for unpaid work stay with us.
Warranty and liability
We do the work with professional care and fix defects that come from our work for 30 days after launch. Outside that, work is provided as delivered, and we do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic, sales or third-party platform behaviour. Our total liability on a project is limited to the fees you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or lost-profit losses, to the extent the law allows.
Confidentiality
We keep your non-public business information private and use it only to do the work. The same applies to ours.
Governing law
The proposal or statement of work names the governing law and where disputes are handled. We would rather talk it through first.
Ownership and assets
This section protects both sides, and it is the part most worth reading.
What you own
Once a project is paid in full, you own the final deliverables made specifically for you: the finished design files, written copy, brand assets and the site or app code we built for you. Until payment in full, we keep all rights and you have a licence to review the work only.
What we keep
We keep ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, components, libraries, systems and know-how, including anything we reuse across clients. You get a lasting licence to use them as part of your deliverables. You do not get the right to resell or redistribute them on their own.
Third-party material
Fonts, stock imagery, icons, plugins and open-source code carry their own licences. We tell you which ones are used. Unless we say otherwise, buying those licences, or renewing them, is your cost.
Portfolio
We may show the finished work, and describe the project, in our portfolio and case studies. Tell us before the project starts if something must stay private, and we will leave it out.
Rumble's own brand and content
The Rumble name, wordmark, bear mark, site design, copy and imagery belong to Rumble Builds. Please do not copy, scrape or reuse them without written permission.
Using this site and free tools
Our free tools, such as the Site Health Check, are offered as they are. Results are automated estimates to help you spot things worth fixing. They are not a guarantee, a security audit or professional advice, and you should check anything important yourself.
Only scan sites you own or have permission to test. Do not use the tools to overload, probe or attack any site, or to collect data in bulk. We may limit or block use that does.
The "Ask AI about Rumble" buttons open third-party assistants with a prefilled question. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies, and what they answer is theirs, not ours.
Privacy
What we collect
Only what you give us: your name, email and project details when you contact us, use the "Where should we start?" flow, or run a free tool that asks for your email. For the Site Health Check we also process the web address you submit and the public results of scanning it.
How we use it
To reply to you, send the report or plan you asked for, follow up once about it, and run and improve the site. We do not sell your data and we do not rent out lists.
Who handles it for us
Service providers that run the site and store or send messages, such as our hosting, database and email providers. They process data only to provide those services.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and tool leads are kept while they are useful for the conversation, then deleted. Client records are kept as long as needed for the work, accounting and legal reasons.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold about you, or to stop hearing from us, by emailing hello@rumble.studio. Where the law gives you more rights, such as under GDPR, we respect those too.
Cookies
We keep this to the minimum needed to run the site. If we add analytics, we will say so here.
